Permission to make copies from digital/online sources or to use copyright material to create multimedia resources is granted under the following licences:
CLA, NLA Media Access, ERA, PPL, PRS, CCLI, PVSL, MPLC, SPML

General Guidance

The same terms apply in a mixed-media resource as with other educational uses of copyright material.

Whether using a work in its entirety or just a clip or extract, some general points to remember are:

• The only copyright materials that require a licence or alternative permission for curriculum use are, Print and digital books, journal and magazines (CLA); newspapers (NLA Media Access); printed music (PMLL), and TV and radio broadcasts (ERA).
• Music recordings and films require a licence or alternative permission only when used for extra-curricular activities
